Role Description
Job Description:
As a fractional Curriculum & Programme Developer, you will play an integral role in ensuring the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of their programmes and products supporting youth development. These may span programmes, learning tools, and other educational resources, and your contribution will be directly linked to the future of their work with youths.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and develop various curriculum and programme products that serve the mission and raison d’être of the client
Engage internal stakeholders to customise and build training workshops for character and youth development programmes
Research developments in education, personal development, organisational psychology, and learning & development
Apply gamification and experiential learning approaches into client's products, including board games, digital tools, and emerging technologies
Facilitate and support training workshops in schools and at client's training facilities, where required
What a Typical Work Cycle May Involve:
Designing and refining programmes aligned with learning objectives for youths, educators, and partner organisations
Reviewing and enhancing existing programmes to ensure continued relevance and generational impact
Exploring experiential and game-based learning approaches and translating insights into programme design
Reading academic journals, books, and other resources to deepen understanding of development frameworks and learning theories
Participating in cross-functional discussions to contribute a curriculum and programme development perspective
Requirements:
Prior working experience in any sector; experience in education, youth work, facilitation, or learning & development is an advantage
Interest in curriculum design, programme development, and innovative approaches to education
Comfortable applying design thinking, experiential learning, and reflective practices in programme design
ACLP/DDDLP certification is a plus
Passion for youth development and belief in young people as agents of positive change
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across a range of stakeholders
Able to work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver quality outputs
Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and purpose-driven environment
