Role Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced industry expert for a brief, high-impact consultation call. The objective of this engagement is to leverage deep domain expertise in medical consumables manufacturing, operations, and market dynamics to support the firm's private credit or venture capital evaluation processes.


This is a one-time, 60-minute expert consultation offering Rs. 10,000/hour


Key Responsibilities & Discussion Areas -

During the consultation, the expert will be expected to provide strategic insights on:

  • Operational Nuances: Plant management, manufacturing workflows, and scaling production lines for medical nonwovens, wound care, surgical disposables, or injection systems.

  • Commercial P&L Dynamics: Input cost pass-through mechanisms, pricing strategies, managing customer concentration, and navigating GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) or distribution channels.

  • Supply Chain & Raw Materials: Market dynamics regarding critical inputs like nitrile, latex, resins, and nonwoven fabrics.


Functional Experience

  • Former COO, President, General Manager, or VP of Manufacturing/Operations who has directly managed multi-plant operations and owned commercial P&L.

  • Alternatively, a former Head of Business Development or Strategy within the medical consumables sector.

    Scale & Sector Expertise.

  • Scale Managed: Proven track record handling an organizational turnover or P&L size of INR 100 Crore to INR 1000 Crore.

  • Deep Domain Knowledge: Extensive exposure to medical consumables, including wound care, surgical drapes/gowns, IV sets, catheters, syringes, needles, surgical gloves, or sterilization components.
