Role Description

An investment fund focused on partnering with ambitious founders to build enduring businesses, is evaluating an investment opportunity in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sector. The company under evaluation offers an integrated BESS solution combining hardware (battery containers, cells, auxiliary power systems) and Energy Management Software (EMS) for utility-scale and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects ranging from 10 MWh to 500 MWh.


They are seeking an experienced industry expert for an initial advisory discussion to help evaluate the market, competitive landscape, and investment opportunity.

We are looking for senior professionals who have: Extensive experience in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) ecosystem. Worked with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) or utility companies and have led or managed BESS integration projects. Strong understanding of utility-scale and C&I energy storage applications. Deep knowledge of procurement, EPC execution, system integration, and commercial aspects of BESS deployments. Experience evaluating technology, vendors, and investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
