Role Description

Buhler India is seeking a senior Paints & Coatings industry expert to support the market entry and growth of its Grinding & Dispensing business in India, covering technologies such as vertical and horizontal bead mills.


Key Responsibilities:


The consultant will leverage their industry relationships, technical expertise and business network to:

  • Open doors with leading paint and coatings manufacturers, including Asian Paints, Birla Opus and other major players.

  • Connect Buhler with senior stakeholders across Plant, Engineering, Maintenance, Technical/R&D, Projects, Procurement and CXO functions.

  • Identify and develop opportunities for grinding, dispersion, bead milling and related process equipment.

  • Support Buhler teams in customer meetings, plant visits and technical/commercial discussions.

  • Map target accounts, projects, CAPEX plans, applications and competitive equipment.

  • Develop an India Paints & Coatings market-entry and business-development plan.

  • Provide market and competitive intelligence and help build Bühler's sales/application capabilities.


Experience Required:


  • 20+ years of experience in the Indian Paints & Coatings industry.

  • Strong network with leading Indian paint manufacturers and proven ability to open doors with senior decision-makers.

  • Good understanding of paint manufacturing, grinding, milling, dispersion and process equipment.

  • Experience in CAPEX, equipment selection or technology introduction is an advantage.

  • Strong business-development and relationship-management skills.

  • Comfortable with Pan-India travel and customer engagement.
