As some of you may have noticed, we have made changes to our newsletter! We want it to focus on WisGen* and include contributions from our community.
Our (when we say our, we mean you and us) newsletter will include updates from WisGen* who have been hired recently, blogs shared by community members, upcoming events at WisdomCircle, product updates that we're excited to share, and occasionally, snippets of industry-relevant news.
So, welcome to the newsletter, our labour of love. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed putting this together for you!

About Suniel Guptaa
Suniel has over 32 years of experience in the Pharma industry, including Business Development, Sales Management, and Training. He spearheaded the training department of a large Indian pharmaceutical company, where he planned, organised, designed, and delivered skill enhancement programmes. He has the distinction of having trained 10,000+ people.
Since 2015, he has been practising as a freelance Life Coach and Soft Skills Trainer and recently published his first book- What Next? Journey to a Successful Career.
On what he wanted to do post-retirement
Driven by the pursuit of creative autonomy and the allure of making a meaningful impact through personalised one-on-one coaching, Suniel knew he wanted to work independently, leading him to start his own training company. He derives great joy from engaging with students and emerging professionals and offering them guidance, support, and mentorship. He is deeply committed to contributing to society.
What Suniel is currently doing
Other than working as a Life Coach and Soft Skills Trainer, Suniel was recently placed, through WisdomCircle, at an NGO called Kshamata, which is dedicated to aiding marginalised and vulnerable women.
As a 'Social Enterprise Development Officer', Suniel works closely with the Senior Management towards the growth of the social enterprise, supports the Job Readiness & Micro-business initiatives, and the capacity building of select staff, besides developing and implementing systems and processes in revenue generation, budgeting and marketing.

About Nirupam Dey
Nirupam is a seasoned finance & operations professional with 20+ years of experience across multiple industries. He previously served as the Risk Head (Financial Shared Services) for Wipro and a GRC specialist as a BU owner(India Region)- Product & Sales of RSA Archer at RSA Securities.
Nirupam practices philanthropy through causes close to him and has a deep interest in volunteering. He is married to Sangeeta, a sales and marketing professional at a leading technology organisation, and they live in Bangalore.
On what he wanted to do post-retirement
After working for more than two decades in large corporates and developing rich experience and expertise, Nirupam was keen to reshape his professional journey, focusing on paying it forward and shaping start-ups or small organisations in their growth journey. He wanted to push himself to unlearn the corporate mantras and learn the hustle and agility of start-ups.
What Nirupam is currently doing
Through WisdomCircle, he was placed at Avasarala Technologies, working as GM Finance and Controller. He is involved in all areas of finance, provides strategic direction to the finance function, and helps solve challenges the organisation faces.
He is an active member of Rotary (service above self) and enjoys experimenting with his culinary skills during his free time.

WisdomCircle honours those challenging cultural expectations of elders slowing down and retreating into retirement by shining light on their journey through an inspiring series called “Wisdom Stories”.
Ms Poonam Chadha, in her interview with Saonli Sen Choudhury, shares a message for the Wisdom Generation, “never stop believing... don’t be afraid of spending time with yourself – solitude can do wonderful things. Not all stories need to have a fairy tale ending, but if you love the process, you will enjoy the ride.”

We've partnered with AryaPlay, a games-based psychometric assessments company, to create our very first game - 'Discover your Value type'. This is a fun way to get to know yourself and find roles that match your personality and preferences.
Recruiter Activity and Status of Roles
Based on feedback from WisGen, we have included information about when a role was posted and highlighted roles which are actively hiring, ones which will be closing soon, etc. on the platform.
Profile Building and Verification Services
Once you have completed your profile on the platform, you can also share it with recruiters outside of WisdomCircle by downloading your profile as a PDF.
If you need help with building your profile we offer expert support through our profile-building services.
Additionally, we offer verification services to make your profile even stronger. If you choose to get your profile verified, a verified badge appears next to your name to recruiters.
