“Bilingualism is another factor that has shown to provide protection against cognitive decline that is associated with ageing and are characteristic of Dementia.

The incidence of Alzheimer’s is lower in multilingual societies, and continues to decrease with each additional societal language. This is one of the most striking discoveries in recent times in the neuroscience of multilingualism.
